Waterscape | A pet-friendly Lincolnshire romantic getaway with fabulous hot tub and lake views

New to the market with plenty of availability! We think this amazing new luxury lodge has it all; beautifully appointed, set in stunning grounds, complete with a lake view and fabulous hot tub. And did we say it has some of the country’s best beaches on its doorstep? It’s pet friendly too so your beloved pooch can also enjoy walks on the beach or in the Lincolnshire Wolds just around the corner.

Tucked away by the beautiful Lincolnshire coast and close to Skegness, Waterscape is a slice of serenity, set upon the sides of its own lake with a private terrace so you can sit out and enjoy your patch of the countryside. This stylish lodge has been designed with romantics in mind and includes its own private al fresco hot tub, a toasty log burning fire, and a huge super king-size bed.

Drive up to this romantic retreat and step up onto the decking and you will find a table and chairs for coffee out in the sun, or night time meals overlooking the lake.

From here, head inside and you will find a large open plan living space with a modern, comfy feel. We like the log burner. The living area also includes a comfy sofa and tasteful decor – the kind that is easy to relax into after a day exploring. Additionally there is a huge smart TV and free wifi.

Across from here, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, complete with fridge, freezer, microwave and all you might need for self catering while you’re away, along with a dishwasher and a welcome hamper to get your holiday started.

In the next room, you’ll find a calming bedroom complete with a super king size bed and its own TV. This also includes access to the lakeside terrace, making it a great place to wake up. Off here is a luxurious modern en suite bathroom, complete with a beautiful freestanding bath and walk in shower.

One of the standout features at this retreat must be its fabulous outdoor hot tub, which is completely private and offers guests a chance to hang out in the day, or watch the stars in style in the evenings. There is also a private garden for relaxing. And when you’re not in the hot tub you’re welcome to lay back on the sun loungers too.

Waterscape’s location is a great one for a break away. The lodge is tucked away from the busy town of Skegness, and still close enough for an easy day out exploring the rides and water park there or the coastline across the area. We think a trip to Gibraltar is a great idea – not the one with the Rock but the beautiful unspoilt coastline just south of here. There’s also one of the oldest breweries in the country just down the road at Batemans Brewery, which is worth a stop.

If beautiful coastline is what you’re after then lodge owners recommend that you check out the rural beach at Moggs Eye with its golden sands, or the coast at nearby Wolla Bank.

Meanwhile for dining you are spoilt for choice, because apart from some amazing fish and chips by the sea, you also have the options of several great eateries, including lovely local pub The Barley Mow, Italian family-run restaurant San Rufos, and favourite beachside lunch stop The View at Winthorpe.
