The views are almost struggling to keep with the ever changing weather outside and it’s not unusual to experience hail and glorious sunshine on the very same day. Because of its setting this cottage makes for a perfect romantic break all year round, regardless of the weather, season or even time of day. On stormy days cosy up in front of the log fire or nestle into the Eames leather chair with a good read, only to occasionally look up and drink in the scenery.

The materials used inside match the rugged landscape which surrounds the cottage. As a result you’ll find many bare materials such as wood, polished concrete and metal which gives Shore Cottage an authentic and honest finish that sits well in the landscape. The painstaking attention to detail and devotion to quality is noticeable all around you, from the bespoke handmade towel rails and door handles to the beautiful drop curtains in the bedroom.

The bedroom features the impressive 7ft feather-topped bed in leather and finished steel designed by artist blacksmith Sam Barlow. The open-plan kitchen and dining area lead out onto a the patio with those stunning views. And for those desiring to whip up a candlelit romantic dinner, Shore Cottage has a modern cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer as well as an outdoor barbeque (for the more rugged romantic cooks amongst us).
