The Stables is located in the beautiful grounds of Belchamp Hall, a grand county house near the historic town of Sudbury. This one bedroom cottaged features a very large open plan living, dining and kitchen space with lots of historic features like high ceilings, wide floor boards and stunning windows with beautiful views out across the surrounding estate.

At one end of this space you’ll find a pretty painted country kitchen with oak worktops and butchers block. It is fully equipped so there’s everything you might need to surprise your loved one with a luxurious breakfast or even cook up a romantic dinner for two.

The double doors open up to a beautiful large patio looking out over the landscaped grounds; a perfect spot for a morning coffee, a good book in the afternoon or alfresco dining in the evening.

At the other end of the large living room is a classic sitting area with leather Chesterfield sofas, wood panelling, library style bookshelves and a cleverly hidden 55 inch smart TV.

The wood panelling opens up to reveal the sumptuous bedroom suite with a very comfy super king-sized bed and gorgeous en-suite bathroom with freestanding bath and huge walk in shower.

The country estate setting of The Stables make this a very special and romantic holiday cottage for two in Suffolk. You’ll also be surrounded by beautiful countryside, cute market towns and quant villages like Long Melford and Lavenham. There are plenty of places to eat out and we like the look of upmarket county pubs The Fox in Bulmer Tye and The Henny Swan just outside Sudbury.
