Shaldon Beach Hut is ideal for you if you fancy a relaxing alfresco lunch with a seabreeze. The outside terrace, with outdoor dining area and parasol, provides the perfect spot for enjoying unhurried lunches in the summer sunshine or in the evenings as the sea calms and the stars twinkle through the dusk. You can swap the sound of traffic back at home for the waves crashing on the shoreline outside.

The hideaway includes a charming open plan living room with folding doors to help you enjoy the warm weather. There is a galley style kitchen with everything you need to make a romantic dinner for two – although owners assure us there is also a whole host of restaurants and gastro pubs just a short beach stroll away.

Up on a mezzanine floor is a king-sized futon mattress. Additional guests can also be accommodated in comfort on a double size sofa futon bed. The beach hut includes a luxury stone tiled bathroom, with a power shower, wash basin and toilet.

There is a private parking space to the front and, if you are driving, you will find Shaldon village is just a 15-minute drive from Torquay and Newton Abbot mainline Train Station, a 20 minute drive from the M5 and a 30 minute drive from Exeter Airport.
