For the more adventurous there are fabulous walks on the doorstep, great cycling routes, a variety of lochs for canoeing and paddleboarding and the opportunity to go skiing in winter at Glenshee or in the Cairngorm mountains. Alternatively visit the Highland Games, held annually in May only 10 minutes away at Blair Atholl or the local Pitlochry Highland Games in September.
