Knoydart House Studio is a self-catering room for 2 with its own kitchenette located on the stunning Knoydart peninsula. Only accessible by boat, this hidden corner of Scotland offers some of the best wildlife in the country, including golden eagles, otters, dolphins, minke whales and basking shark. And for those who love mountain walks there are no less than three Munros to conquer including the iconic Ladhar Bheinn.
But it’s not all rugged and wild. Knoydart House Studio is no ordinary holiday cottage. Furnished with antique pieces, family pieces and art by local artists it offers some real luxuries like the romantic french canopy bed, crisp white linen, Highland Organics toiletries, Nespresso machine, and monsoon style shower. And of course there is the huge private hot tub with uninterrupted loch views for guests use constantly heated at 40 degrees and ready for you to soak up those stunning sea loch views. Enter the studio via your own private entrance - with underfloor heating of course, combined with lovely soft furnishings and warm timbers. You’ll be drawn to the patio doors leading onto your own decking with stunning views and outdoor seating. The Studio Room has its own kitchenette, wifi, bluetooth Bose sound dock, TV, microwave and many other practical items. In-house massages and are available so you can treat your loved one to some extra TLC. You can also order a local seafood platter for 2 to be delivered to your door. take a stroll to remote beaches, climb one of the three munros on our doorstep or head out to The Old Forge pub only 10 minutes walk away mainland Britain’s remotest pub - Guinness Book of records. Enjoy craft ales served staright from the local brewery or enjoy local traditinal folk music in an impromtu misc session. If your lucky you may even catch a glimpse of the aurora with a dancig display of the Northern lights.
Knoydart is a thriving little community with a local craft shop, tea room, micro brewery and the remotest pub on Scottish mainland, on Knoydart. Local food in season, includes delicious estate venison, fresh langoustines, lobster and hand dived scallops landed straight from the loch. Staying on Knoydart really does slow you down, but if you fancy a trip out to one of many islands then there are fast water taxis as well as the normal ferries.
