Honey Hedge | A honeymoon hideaway with hot tub overlooking Lamorna Cove in Cornwall

This sunny spot is a beautiful place to hideaway and we’ve found a gorgeous little romantic bolthole for couples here. Honey Hedge has amazing sea views, a private hot tub and a woodburner for cosy evenings. We think it’s a great place to escape to enjoy Cornwall and some of the best south English coastline.

This cottage has been created to a high standard – so much so that it has earned five star status and a Gold Award by Visit Britain. Vaulted ceilings give Honey Hedge a sense of space but it is snug enough for you to curl up. The cottage has a large living room, where you can relax on an Italian hand-carved sofa, in front of the toasty wood burner. From here, light pours in from French windows, which look out onto landscaped gardens with views of the ruin of Kemyel Manor, dating back a thousand years, and sea views beyond.

The bedroom includes a hand-carved king size mahogany bed, and you can even see the Lizard Light House from the bed. There is a stylish bathroom with shower and a standout double-ended slipper bath. And, when it comes to dinnertime, there is a well-equipped kitchen, with everything you might need to rustle up a romantic meal.

But, we haven’t finished yet. One of the greatest features at Honey Hedge is outside. Head out the French doors, down the landscaped garden to discover your own hideaway within a hideaway. There is an all-weather hot tub, with decked area, loungers and a barbecue. This unique secret garden offers a chill out space.

This is a great base if you want to catch some fresh air. The coastal path on your door step will lead you to sandy beaches and coves, along with quaint little harbour towns and villages, and romantic restaurants. All in all, it’s a great escape and a charismatic spot to start your Cornwall holiday.
