The stunning Black Swan is set in 35 acres of lakes, gardens and ancient woodland, in the countryside of Cullompton. The location is an ideal spot for exploring both town and country, with the trendy historic city of Exeter nearby, along with the beautiful Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks just a hop away.

Step inside the front door and you’ll find this property has wonderful long sliding doors looking onto the balcony and the lake. It feels like having the outside inside, and means the cabin is flooded with lovely light all day long.

You’ll find a comfy reclining sofa and a large open lounge here. Just across, there’s a fully equipped kitchen, complete with everything you might need for a self catered break, along with an oven, hob, a dishwasher and American-style fridge-freezer.

With balconies both upstairs and downstairs, you can enjoy your morning coffee sat outside in the sunshine. Keep your eyes peeled to spot kingfishers flying past, along with the egrets, woodpeckers and many other birds that are often found at the lake.

One of the favourite features in this property is the outdoor hot tub, covered with its own veranda. It’s a perfect spot for relaxing afternoons, and chilled out evenings. Next to this, you will also find a private landing stage and boathouse, with your own rowing boat. So you can swan about on the lake to your heart’s content.

When you fancy a cosy evening, you can use your very own fire pit for sitting out, and you can also find a gas barbecue for alfresco lunches in the sunshine.

Black Swan is set in the countryside of Woody Park, which is the home to four other secluded luxury log cabins. The lodges are all designed for couples, so you are guaranteed a chilled out getaway.

Once you are ready to head out and explore, you have all of Devon at your doorstep. To get you started, the lodges owners recommend you check out Culmstock Beacon, situated 20 minutes from Black Swan by car, which makes for a great spot with a view, and also the dramatic river gorge of Watersmeat, a National Trust property.
